Finally, we reach the end. And while I should feel a bit nostalgic, I’m just really pleased that Jenny Han was able to finish strong. More often than not, series endings tend to feel a bit stretched and even rushed. Everything, Everything: A Book Review

Everything, Everything is the debut novel of YA best-selling author Nicola Yoon about Madeline “Maddy”, a girl with a rare condition known as the bubble baby disease. To be honest, the premise is so intriguing that anyone can easily be lured into reading this book. It is a book with promise but did not quite live up to my expectations. And while Yoon’s writing prowess was evident, her underwhelming conclusion was enough to convince me that this book failed to achieve what it could have set out to do. Wonder: A Book Review

Wonder, a book released in 2012 by R.J. Palacio, is a story of a 10-year old boy named August “Auggie” Pullman. Auggie is just like any other kid: he’s funny, loved by family and friends, has a very cute dog, and seriously enjoys Halloween. Yes, he’s quite ordinary except that he’s not. No, August has never been ordinary. For one, he gets stared at A LOT.
